To add a Blockchain or Wallet Integration that is supported by Blockpit, you need the basic public key (public wallet address) of your wallet.
Please note that when using wallet service providers such as Ledger, Exodus and Ko. for certain blockchains (BTC, BCH, DOGE, LTC, ADA), a so-called Extended Public Key (public account address) may have to be used.
More examples of both address types at the end of the following steps.
Adding an automatic Blockchain/Wallet Integration
-
In order to enter your data, you must first create an Integration.
To do so, click the top menu item on +Integration. - You can choose between Blockchain, Wallet, Exchange and Manual Integrations.
- Select a Blockchain or Wallet Service Provider from the list.
- Now enter a Name for your integration and a direct public wallet address (Legacy, Bech32, Segwit, ERC20) or public account address (Ledger, Trezor, Exodus, and others).
Tip: Keep “First Transaction” (Full History) as the default start date. Selecting a specific start date only makes sense if you want to add transactions that are before the start date manually.
- You can let Blockpit check if your address is part of the EVM network (Ethereum Virtual Machine) and therefore active on different blockchains of this network by keeping the following advanced settings and confirming with Continue.
If your address is EVM enabled, you can now select those active blockchains that you want to import as a standalone wallet integration, as shown below.
- To finish, click Continue so that your wallet(s), asset balances and transactions are automatically imported.
When creating Multi-Wallet Integrations such as Trezor, Ledger and Co., it is possible to add more blockchains (wallets) step by step. All your wallets will be grouped in one folder.
Existing or future Integrations can also be added to this folder at a later time.

Your public wallet address can be used to track your holdings (asset balance) and the associated transaction history. A public wallet address is often referred to as a paper wallet or public key.
Bitcoin (BTC)
Example of a Bitcoin paper wallet address:
34MpgrLDLbBTp9XY12FZKMEj33Jvrk7djs (Begins with "1", "3" or "bc1")
Ethereum (ETH)
Example of a Ethereum paper wallet address:
0x1b073382e63411e3bcffe90ac1b9a43fefa1ec6f (Begins with 0x)
When is the Extended Public Keys (public account address) used?
Extended Public Keys (public account addresses) are only used by certain blockchains:
BTC |
BCH |
ADA |
DOGE |
LTC |

In addition to public wallet addresses (Public Keys), there are so-called public account addresses (Extended Public Keys), which are primarily used by wallet providers such as Ledger, Exodus, BitBox and others to combine several sub-wallets (Public Keys) in your account (HD wallets).
> Where to find the extended public key of my wallet (xpub for Ledger, Exodus and others)?

How to add a Bitcoin Integration using an Extended Account Address [xpub]?
Example of an Extended Bitcoin Account Address: xpub6BosfCnifzxcFwrSzQiqu2DBVTshkCXacvNsWGYJVVhhawA7d4R5WSWGFNbi8Aw6ZRc1brxMyWMzG3DSSSSoekkudhUd9yLb6qx39T9nMdj (Begins with "xpub", "ypub" or "zpub")
How to add a Bitcoin Integration using an extended Taproot Account Address [tr(xpub)]?
Example of an Extended Bitcoin Taproot Account Address: tr(xpub6BosfCnifzxcFwrSzQiqu2DBVTshkCXacvNsWGYJVVhhawA7d4R5WSWGFNbi8Aw6ZRc1brxMyWMzG3DSSSSoekkudhUd9yLb6qx39T9nMdj)
If the integration using xpub keys does not work, you can change the prefix of the xpub key to ypub or zpub as shown above and try again.
> Example: How to determine the correct Bitcoin xpub key for my ledger integration?
Dogecoin (DOGE) works analogously with the abbreviation dgub as a substitute for the xpub used for Bitcoin.
Litecoin (LTC) works analogously with the abbreviations Ltub, Mtub and zpub as a substitute for the xpub, ypub and zpub prefixes used for Bitcoin.
Cardano (ADA)works analogously with the abbreviations acct_ (Daedalus), xpub (Shally Era) or 128+ character Hex-Keys (Yoroi).
How to solve problems with my automatic Blockchain/Wallet Integration?
-
Blockpit shows different Tips (indicators) in the Dashboard and your Transactions list depending on the type of problem you are facing. The following procedure can help you to solve these problems.
Please always synchronize all your integrations first using “Synce All” (Dashboard) and then start a calculation of your transaction data using “Recalculate ” (Transactions) before you analyze Tips or the performance values of your portfolio.
Product updates provided by Blockpit have no direct effect on existing transaction data in your Integration (precautionary measure to avoid changing existing transaction histories through automatic product updates), so creating a new Integration could bring it up to date and solve your problem (Tips) already.
1. Create a new Integration
Temporarily create a second Integration to be able to compare the new and old Integration. Then delete the Integration that you do not want to keep.
> How to create, sync, edit, convert, group, delete and deactivate Integrations?
Alternatively, it is possible to re-synchronize missing or incorrectly imported transactions. In order not to damage existing transaction histories and to avoid new duplicate transactions, we recommend the following article:
> How can to synchronize integrations or re-synchronize missing/incorrectly imported transactions?
2. Label or merge Unlabeled Transactions
Unlabeled transactions can be subsequently categorized with a corresponding label, edited or merged into Trades or Transfers by selecting related transaction pairs. It is also possible to change the labels of multiple similar transactions collectively (bulk edit).
> Basics on Labeling and Merging of Transactions
3. Manually edit, exclude or delete transactions
If you should still see Tips, it is possible that these were caused by incorrect transactions or transactions that were imported twice. These transactions can be edited as follows.
> Transaction Details Overview and Managing & Editing of Transactions
> How to create a Trade or Transfer when only one side of the transaction exists?
> How to replicate Liquidity Mining/Providing transactions manually (DeFi)?
4. Add new transactions
If transactions have not been fully imported, you can add them individually or upload them directly to your integration using the Blockpit XLS Template.
> How to import my CSV/Excel history?
5. Continue to browse Troubleshooting category
In case of missing/incorrectly imported transactions or if your Synced Balance is displayed incompletely, you can help our support team to include them in our import spectrum (if technically possible).
Please provide us with all available information via ticket.
