The following approach is recommended for importing data from other tax applications such as Coinpanda, Cointracker and Co:
-
Sign up at Blockpit.
- Now download the complete transaction history from your tax application as CSV or XLS file, if available, and migrate your data to our Blockpit Excel template using the following instructions:

Alternative procedure for a restart in Blockpit:
- If you want to import your data from scratch, it's best if you can import everything automatically. That's why we recommend adding your exchanges and wallets via API or public key in Blockpit by following our first steps guide.
Please also check our list of supported exchanges and blockchains and the corresponding articles in the data import category as well as all articles on importing data from wallet providers such as Ledger, Metamask, Trust Wallet and others.
When using our exchange and wallet integrations, most of your transactions will automatically be classified with appropriate labels (e.g. as staking, lending, etc.). If your transactions are not automatically labeled, you can always use our quick labeling feature to manually change transaction labels.
Tip: It is possible to set an import start date for Exchange and Wallet integrations in order to use the Blockpit Excel template as well as the automatic API imports in combination.
- For exchanges and wallets that are not yet supported via API, you can create Manual Integrations and use the Blockpiot Excel template.
Manual Integrations can be subsequently converted to Synced Exchange or Wallet Integrations.

Transfers between your integrations are registered as unlabeled deposits and withdrawals, which are then automatically linked to Transfers by so-called auto merging in order to transfer your original acquisition data. More on this in the following article:
