How to import data via One Trading API key and CSV file?

One Trading was formerly known as Bitpanda Pro.
Blockpit is still One Trading partner and all API data stays unaffected by the spinout/rebrand.

 

How do I get my One Trading API key and CSV file?

  1. Log into your One Trading account.
  2. Click on your Profile icon.
  3. Now select Account followed by API and click on New API key.
  4. Give the key a unique name.
  5. Select only the "Read" permissions.

  6. Click on Create API key.
  7. Confirm the e-mail you got.
  8. Your API key now visible in the API-List. Click on Copy and close.
    Your API key is now shown only once and available to copy!

  9. To import your data, you must first create an Integration in the Blockpit Web App.
    To do so, click + Integration in the upper navigation.
  10. Select One Trading from the list of exchanges, and then copy the API key into the designated fields in your Blockpit account.
  11. Now it is also required to add your One Trading transaction history via CSV file.
    1. To do this, click on your profile icon and select Exports.
    2. Then click on New export and make the following selection:



    3. Next click on Generate export(s).
  12. As a final step, insert the CSV file into the designated field and confirm your entries with Create.



  13. If further uploads are required, access your Integration and upload more files as shown in the screenshot below.



    Important: Make sure that there are no time overlaps when uploading further CSV/XLS files, as the upload does not check for duplicate transactions. The CSV/XLS file must be adjusted independently before uploading by deleting existing transactions.

 

Which data can be imported via One Trading API key?

Your complete transaction history always serves as the basis for your tax report. Preferably, automatic API solutions are used to import your transactions. Our team is committed to implementing all API data provided by your exchange for you.

Using the following list, you can identify all products that are implemented:

Transactions:

icon-clock.svg Currently only Deposit & Withdrawal transactions before the year 2024 are available via API (update planned). All other transactions have to be uploaded via One Trading CSV files. Before uploading your One Trading CSV files, make sure to delete already imported transactions from your files, as these will cause transaction duplicates if re-uploaded.

How do I solve problems with my One Trading Integration?

  • Blockpit shows different Tips (indicators) in the Dashboard and your Transactions list depending on the type of problem you are facing. The following procedure can help you to solve these problems.

    Please always synchronize all your integrations first using “Synce All” (Dashboard) and then start a calculation of your transaction data using “Recalculate ” (Transactions) before you analyze Tips or the performance values of your portfolio.

    1. Create a new Integration

    Product updates provided by Blockpit have no direct effect on existing transaction data in your Integration (precautionary measure to avoid changing existing transaction histories through automatic product updates), so creating a new Integration could bring it up to date and solve your problem (Tips) already.

    Temporarily create a second Integration to be able to compare the new and old Integration. Then delete the Integration that you do not want to keep.

    Alternatively, it is possible to re-synchronize missing or incorrectly imported transactions. In order not to damage existing transaction histories and to avoid new duplicate transactions, we recommend the following article:

    2. Label or merge Unlabeled Transactions

    Unlabeled transactions can be subsequently categorized with a corresponding label, edited or merged into Trades or Transfers by selecting related transaction pairs. It is also possible to change the labels of multiple similar transactions collectively (bulk edit).

    3. Manually edit, exclude or delete transactions

    If you should still see Tips, it is possible that these were caused by incorrect transactions or transactions that were imported twice. These transactions can be edited as follows.

    4. Add new transactions

    If transactions have not been fully imported, you can add them individually or upload them directly to your integration using the Blockpit XLS Template.
