How to report missing, duplicate or incorrect transactions?

The basis of a correct tax report is always a complete transaction history without missing or incorrect transaction entries. A good indicator of this is the absence of Tips in your transaction list or dashboard. Blockpit specializes in automatic data import solutions for popular exchanges and blockchain via API or public keys and discloses all potential issues (tips) as transparently as possible.

Blockpit specializes in automatic data import solutions for popular exchanges and blockchains via APIs or public keys as well as CSV/Excel file uploads, and provides transparent information (displayed as tips) on how to optimize your transaction history. For this purpose, the import spectrum, i.e., the automatically recordable transactions of your exchange or wallet, is described in the Help Center sections Exchange Integration (API) and Blockchain/Wallet Integration (Public Key).

♻ Please note that the import spectrum of our exchange or blockchain integration is depending on the services provided by the Exchanges or Blockchain.

It can therefore happen that products cannot yet be technically implemented due to external limitations. Often, however, such services are provided by those platforms over time and can thus be implemented for you subsequently.
✅ How do I fix the Tip "Missing History"?

It is important to understand the cause the "Missing History as these are due to missing, duplicate, or incorrect transactions and can usually be resolved manually.

I found the missing or incorrect transaction in the transaction history of my exchange or wallet!

If a missing, duplicate, or incorrect transaction is found via the transaction history of the exchange or blockchain in question, it can either be added manually in the corresponding Blockpit integration or submitted to our support team as a detailed example along with the relevant documentation.

Our support team will then review the submitted documents (e.g., marked screenshots and a CSV/Excel extract with at least one affected transaction) and verify whether the transaction can be included in our import spectrum.

What evidence do we need for a potential update of the affected integration?

  • Product description (Screenshot and detailed description of the exchange or wallet product used)
  • Transaction Example (Screenshots and CSV/Excel extract of missing or incorrect transactions from your exchange or blockchain/wallet transaction history with clearly marked transaction example and visible history title)

  • Public Wallet/Account Address (In case of missing blockchain/wallet transactions or assets, we also require a blockchain explorer link/hash of the affected transaction and the associated public key of your wallet).
💡 Please avoid Smartphone Screenshots and make sure that the title/header of the transaction history is also visible on your screenshots.

🔎 Without sufficient documentation your request cannot be processed by our support team.
