Swaps/Trades of established Ethereum protocols (Uniswap, SushiSwap, 1Inch, etc.) are already automatically imported via your public key into your Wallet Depot.
When using a Wallet- or Unsynced Depot, swaps (trade from Asset1 to Asset2) are currently not or only partially imported via API.
Important: For unsupported Protocols, Swaps will be partly visible/imported as unlinked Withdrawal of Asset1 and unlinked Deposit of Asset2. To link these transactions, we suggest creating a secondary Unsynced Depot for your Swaps.
To successfully recreate a Swap, proceed as follows:
- Navigate to the menu item Depots in your Blockpit account.
- Click on the Create New button in the top navigation, followed by Add Depot and select
- Enter a desired depot name (e.g. "Swap-Depot 1").
To quickly create counterparts to the existing unlinked Withdrawal and Deposit transactions, navigate back to your existing Wallet Depot and use the manual link function by clicking on
+New Link followed by Create Deposit/Withdrawal directly on the transaction.
Tip: If you are not using a Wallet Depot as a starting point, but want to display your DeFi transactions (swaps, exchanges, etc.) directly in an Unsynced Depot, no deposits and withdrawals are necessary and the swap can be created directly in the Wallet Depot.
If you have many transactions, you can also import them into your Unsynced Depot using an Excel template.
Now navigate to the previously created unsynced Depot ("Swap-Depot 1") and create the actual Swap/Trade by again using the Create New followed by Add Transaction buttons.
The created Trade transaction now covers the actual swap from Asset1 to Asset2.
When creating the transaction, make sure that the time stamp is correct (follow the time zone set in the web interface). The tax report itself converts your transactions to UTC).
