Create a Depot
You can create an Depot in the following steps:
- Click on the menu item Depots in your Blockpit account.
- Then click on the grey area Add Depot or on the button Add depot on the right side.
- When creating a new Depot, you can currently choose between Exchange, Wallet and Unsynced (also called manual input).
- If you cannot find the desired exchange in the list, we probably haven't integrated it yet. Please select manual input to manually enter transactions.
- Label your new Depot using the corresponding input field.
- Finally, click Save to save your new Depot.
Rename a Depot
- Click on the menu item Depots in your Blockpit account.
- There are three dots in the upper right corner of the selected Depot. By clicking on these three points, edit can be selected. Or click on the depot you want to rename and select the Edit button.
- A window will open in which you can rename the name of the Depot.
- Click on the Save button. You have successfully renamed your Depot.
Update a Depot
Depots with API data import are updated automatically:
- Balances are automatically updated about every 30 minutes.
- Transactions are automatically updated about every 60 minutes.
Where can I find details on the individual transactions?
- Click on the portfolio for which you would like to receive information or select the appropriate transaction directly in the menu item named Transactions.
- Click on a transaction which you would like to know more about.
- A window will open in which all details (that are saved about the transaction) are displayed: Date and time of the transaction, currencies, fees as well as the amount and type of the transaction. You can also specify whether the transaction should be included or ignored in the balance sheet or tax report.
How do I remove transactions from a Depot?
- To remove a transaction from a Depot, select the desired Depot and click on the Transaction you want to remove.
- Now all details of the transaction are listed. In the upper right corner there is a button with a red background called Delete. By clicking on the button you can remove the transaction from the portfolio. Attention, the delete of transactions cannot be undone!
How to delete a Depot?
- The menu item Depot lists all depots, that you have created. If you want to delete a depot, either click on the three dots and select Delete or click on the depot and select the Delete button that appears in the upper right corner.
- If you confirm the security prompt, your Depot will be deleted. Caution, this cannot be undone!
